Red Cube Regeneration – Contemporary Abstract Sculpture

Height: 67 cm
Width: 15 cm
Depth: 14 cm

Weight: 1.4 kg

Material: wood, clay, metal, paper, concrete, acrylic paint

A red cube, a variable, a transformation. Created by humans, created between humans. Meaningful. An important function. A red cube, above, over everything. Free? This red cube could be anything. The love of a person, the money in the account, the new car. We all have our cubes and we love them.

But no cube without a base..

The base, it appears to be assaulted, decomposed. Decomposed? Isn’t decomposition the very basis for something new?

Ein roter Quader, eine Variable, eine Transformation. Von Menschenhand geschaffen, zwischen Menschen entstanden. Bedeutungsvoll. Eine wichtige Funktion. Ein roter Quader, oben, über allem. Frei? Dieser rote Quader könnte alles sein. Die Liebe zu einem Menschen, das Geld auf dem Konto, das neue Auto. Wir alle haben unsere Quader und wir lieben sie.

Doch kein Quader ohne Basis..

Die Basis, sie wirkt angegriffen, zersetzt. Zersetzt? Ist Zersetzung nicht die Basis für Neues?
